At Atlantbh, we not only decided to celebrate International Children’s Day (June 1st), we decided to make it a week-long event full of activities.

The first of our many activities organized for Atlantbh’s little humans was an art exhibition. The kids of our Atlanters were encouraged to design and/or decorate ABH logos. Their masterpieces were then put on display in our office for the entire week and Atlanters had the chance to vote and pick their favorites. Even though we had one overall winner, every little human took home ABH Mini Merch – it’s like ABH Merch, but fun size!

These little humans were super creative – they surprised us and left us speechless. We’re thinking of inviting them to join our marketing team one day.

Although we love to surprise and plan events for the children of our Atlanters, we know that there are kids living in our country that aren’t so lucky. We decided that this was a great opportunity to give back and help the smallest of our citizens enjoy their primary human rights. In cooperation with Save the Children, an international organization that helps children worldwide, we decided to donate funding for a playground in one of their daily care centers in Mostar.

Atlantbh’s CEO, Milad Čerkić, had this to say, „As a company, we are always trying to be the driver of positive changes, in the business we are dealing with and in other activities as well. We are pleased to have the opportunity to beautify the everyday life of little ones by building a playground and we hope that they will always be looking forward to having fun here “

Director of Save the Children for the North-West Balkans, Andrea Žeravčić, added: “We are very grateful to Atlantbh for recognizing the needs of the most vulnerable children in Bosnia and Herzegovina and offering their support to girls and boys from the Bafo settlement in Mostar. We are talking about children from socially vulnerable families who face numerous challenges every day. They use the daily care center in Mostar, which is run by the NGO “Altruist” with the support of Save the Children. Thanks to the donation of Atlantbh, these children will now be able to exercise their basic right to play. We believe that this move by Atlantbh can serve as a lucrative example that should be followed by other companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina that want to improve their social responsibility and contribute to improving the quality of life for marginalized groups in our country.

The satisfaction of putting a smile on a child’s face or making them happy cannot be put into words. We hope that our work will motivate other companies and organizations to join in helping make a better world for our little humans!
