Really successful event on the ABH internship program

By July 13, 2017 No Comments

Among students, an ABH internship is considered one of the best internships available, so we always have a huge number of applications. Over the eight cycles we have had so far, 56 interns have completed an ABH internship.

Around 50 students visited Atlantbh

Yesterday, we ran an event for interested students. Around 50 students visited our company to hear more about opportunities to gain practical experience. Four company representatives, each from a different project, spoke about how they started as an intern and how they became Atlanter.

Dino, Zlatan, Zerina and Irma showed students what the internship program looks from the inside, from the perspective of an employer who was once an intern. Dino showed how an app looks after three months of ABH internship, and how much you can learn in these three months.

Zlatan spoke about two internship programs that he finished in Atlantbh: Test Automation and Data Analytics. He talked about how to merge these two fields, and how to use knowledge from one field in another.

Zerina finished in the Psychology faculty, and without any IT knowledge decided to explore and learn about data. She applied for our internship program, and became an intern. After a few months of hard work she applied for a job, and became a part of our team. She gave her advice on how to stay motivated, and how to succeed.

Irma, internship leader and former Ruby on Rails intern, talked about how to assess your knowledge and your chances before applying, and provided an overview of the whole process.

After our presentations, students asked questions and networked. Overall, this event was a real success and we are really glad that we have so many students interested in internship programs.

We hope that you will all rock your internship!
